Introduction
Many Business and Information professionals, cannot afford the time to go to conferences about interesting topics. This blog was created to allow them to participate in conferences at anytime. These topics can be found on the Computer Savviness blog.
Comments made by you, the reader, on the topics covered on
the Computer Savviness blog will be incorporated into future AsynConfs
to create online conferences that you can view anytime you are free to view it.
The Different Aspects
of a Library Collection Conference
In this week’s Conference, August 10th, we will be looking at your comments to my blog post “Customers do not want to return research materials” When some
students are shown how to use the public library, they are either late in
returning the book or they never return the book and keep it for
themselves. Some special libraries and
archives have also experienced their own staff “hording” books and hiding them
in their offices. In both scenarios,
these customers have started to create their own personal libraries that no one
else could use. Article Link: http://www.asynconf.com/2015/08/what-can-be-done-to-get-library.html
On August 17th,the conference’s topic will be focused on your comments to “Can One Size fitAll-What is a Library?” Article Link
will post on the second week for the AsynConf (Asynchronous Conference).
Finally, on the third week of the conference, August 24th, the conference’stopic will be focused on your comments on how to prevent information
illiteracy. Article Link will post on
the third week for the AsynConf (Asynchronous Conference).
